Foodbank: We are a hub for Hamilton Combined Christian Foodbank. This is an emergency food service. Please ring us to make an appointment to make an application or come in and see us on Monday 1-2.30 p.m or Tuesday 1-2.30 p.m. Know that you will need a letter from WINZ saying that you’re no longer eligible for a food grant and some ID. If you’re unsure if you’re eligible please call us, 07 8583453.

Fruit and Vege Boxes: We sell our fruit and vege boxes for just $11 every week that we’re open. This is the box from 18 May 2023. It’s indicative of what we get each week.

Sourced largely from BidFresh they are great value for money and highly recommended. They vary slightly from week to week and season to season but the basics are generally covered. To order, just follow this process:

Please pay by online banking if you can by Wednesday 11a.m. Our account number is 03-1355-0637160-00. Put your name, contact number and veg box in the details. Pick up is at 53 Wellington St after 11 on Thursday.

We are also offering deliveries of our Fruit & Vege Boxes

If you would like your vege box delivered this will cost $14 (so box + $3 delivery). You must live in the Hamilton East, Hillcrest, Silverdale, University or Riverlea area. Please email your address to manager@waimarie.org to make sure we can deliver to your house before choosing this option. Deliveries will happen between 4-5p.m on most Thursdays (occasionally the boss is away!)

Go Eco Rescue Food: Previously known as Kaivolution, this is a service run by Go Eco that rescues edible food that would otherwise go to waste. We are proud to be a partner in this service. We redistribute this kai between 1-2p.m every weekday that we’re open. We do this by appointment. No conditions. Please contact us to get on the list (details at top of page).
